Wellington Opera proudly presents Manon, Jules Massenet’s quintessentially French opera of the belle époque.
Amina Edris enchants audiences worldwide with her radiant soprano voice and captivating stage presence, while Pene Pati is beloved by many for his role in the chart-topping trio Sol3 Mio, and has since become one of the most sought-after tenors on the global stage. Phillip Rhodes returns following his wonderful performances in La Traviata and Lucia di Lammermoor.
Wellington Opera brings these wonderful Kiwi artists home to perform this sumptuous masterpiece at the St James Theatre, Wellington with French conductor Romain Dumas and Aotearoa’s renowned opera director Sara Brodie.
